Cameras
          -What a camera today is!

A camera is not a human being!
A human sees a subject -> subjective, a camera just sees light ->objective!

The digital camera is between the human being and the analogue camera, it is an interface. Digital cameras are not only looking at the light but also at the subject because of its little computers in the camera. They try to think like a human being, look for faces, movement …

-Camera Options:

  • Pixel Size Image:
How many Pixels in each image?
Average today: 8-32 Megapixels
The more Megapixels the more information we have, finer details resolution
  • JPEG- Compression format:
30 000 choices what the computer does!
  • RAW- Uncompressed –Unaltered

Photoshop
